Hi friends. Happy holidays.
Utilization of multiple queen systems is not new. It has was practiced by French and
Spanish beekeepers beekeepers many years back.
For those interested in reading about this technique I would like to recommend a book
written by a great beekeeper, Professor Dr. Andres Roma Fabrega, Explotacion Racional
del Colmenar, Editorial Sintes, Barcelona, Spain 1974. I do not know if this book
has been translated into other languages. My inclination is to think that it may
have being that it was written by a well known professor and beekeeper. The book has
many photographs of different "arrangements" and many detailed diagrams of different
set ups. Worth reading if nothing more than to become acquitted with a "for profit
beekeeping system.
Best regards.
Dr. Rodriguez
