A presentation on recent excavations at Neveh Shalom was given at the
World Archaeological Congress in Cape Town.  The excavations to date have
concentrated on clearing the surface of debris and exposing some of the
synagogue foundations.  The excavations are being conducted jointly by the
Neveh Shalom Institute, headed by Ainsley Henriques, and University of the
West Indies archaeologist Philip Allsworth-Jones ([log in to unmask]).
