Histarchers-

It is unfortunate that this kind of thing can get through the screens set
in place to prevent it. However, it is unavoidable from time to time.
Please understand how these mailings work. This mailing was addressed to
the HISTARCH list, not to you as an individual. You received the mail
from HISTARCH. The company does not have your email. Therefore, you
personally can not remove yourself from their mailing list. Even if you
could, you must do so by mailing _THEM_, not HISTARCH. The address is
below:

I am sure that Anita will respond the remove the HISTARCH address from the
company's mail program. Once again, mfcnet does not have your address-
you can tell because the mail came to you from HISTARCH rather than from
them to you directly. Anita does a very good job keeping up with this
marketing garbage, and we should all remember that as programs get better
at blocking 'spam', 'spammers' get better at beating the programs!

The best route is to deal with these issues privately off list and not to
waste our collective time bemoaning the occasional advertisement on list.

Regards,

Tim Scarlett
