Grafting is not a lost art.  Be careful what you read and believe about
theses wonderful new queen rearing "kits".  They do not always work as well
as might be expected.  It is often difficult to get the queen to lay in the
provideded cells.  There are other problems with some of the kits that make
them difficult to use.  It would be to your advantage to take the time and
learn the art of grafting.  There is a short course on queen rearing being
offered this spring at th Ohio State University.  Sue Cobey is in charge of
the class.  Good luck with grafting, Philip.
