The reason for not using antibiotics in my hives is the same reason I have
taken to raising my own meat. I don't want the damn things in my food.
   I suppose I might have to change my tune if I was to lose all of my bees.
But if one colony survived you can be sure that is where all of my
 replacements would come from.
