I think Dr.Mathew Johnson may be in a better position than most as regards
settling the rather pointless and potentially tiresome Sheffield v. Durham
debate, as I believe he has first hand knowledge of both institutions.
 
So if we are going to clog the bandwidth with the subject of archaeology in
England lets do so more constructively, why not let our American colleagues
know precisely what research is currently being undertaken in the UK.
