In the episode the bees were shipped from Canada to one of the
Carolinas.  Made me wonder is Allen Dick and Dave Green were somehow
involved ;)
 
The episode did a great injustice to bees casting them in a much more
sinister role than the previous episode where the bees took on a higher
intelligence.  The part where the bees attacked the elementary school
playground was especially poor.
