Hi Kirk:
 
Awhile ago there were some discussions about how to take care of ants
around hives. I recall one that talked about putting some ant poison
inside
a jar, punching holes with a certain size nail (a size big enough for
ants to get
through and too small for bees, and then putting this underneath the hive
tilted slightly downward.
 
I am sure that others will come back on BEE-L with some of the other
methods
previously mentionned. There were quite a few suggested.
