Perhaps these little vampires are descendants of count Braula coeca. (just
kidding)
 
Seriously... The US Department of Agriculture Research Manual ARS-NE-87, has
a couple of pictures of this wingless dipteran (wingles fly!!!)  which is
neither a mite nor a louse.
