When I remove bees from a building and want to salvage the brood comb,
I cut it to fit the frame and then fasten it with three or four rubber
bands. They go on quick and hold the comb in the frame. The bees
chew through the bands within a couple weeks but by then the bees have
fastened them in more firmly with wax. A quarter pound of rubber bands
of the right size sells for about a $1US around here and will do many
removals.
