Hi Everybody
Has any one come across any articles or books dealing with
nineteenth century ceramics that include patterns with animals dressed in
human clothes. A fragment of ceramic was found at Burra near Adelaide that
appears to have come from a plate or bowl base or something similar rather
than a cup, and features what might be a bear or similar animal wearing
clothes. The design is black on white, and the bear's head is less than an
inch in size.
Thanks
Susan
