R.A. Salaman
1975 Dictionary of Tools Used in the Woodworking and Allied Trades, c.
1700-1970; New York, Macmillan.

Salaman illustrates a "Stadda Saw" which has two parallel blades one of
which is shorter than the other which was used by comb makers. The longer
blade was used to complete the kerf begun by the shorter so that a standard
interval was maintained between to two to create teeth of equal size.
