CAA CONFERENCE HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY SESSION
 
        As the organizer of the historical archaeology session at the
upcoming CAA (Canadian Archaeological Association) conference to be held in
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from May 7th to 11th, 1997, I would like to invite
all those with a historical archaeology background to consider presenting in
this session.  Several people have already committed abstracts for the
session, but I would like to see more people come forward and demonstrate
the force that historical archaeology is within contemporary archaeology.
All topics within the historic period will be considered. Please respond by

        All presenters must be current members of the CAA. Dues are $35/year
for students, $75/year for regular members and $100/year for institutions.
