    In regard to the ethnicity issue, I'd recommend anyone interested in the
nuances read or reread Dell Upton's article in _Historical Archaeology_ a
year or so - great summary of the various conceptions of the topic,
especially in terms of the fluid nature of identity and the search for
material correlates to go with it.
