     See Maryland's colonial past rediscovered on one of America's
premier educational channels when The Learning Channel will host a
one-hour special on the new archaeological discoveries at Historic
St. Mary's City, Maryland's first capital.  Filmed here in May by
the "Time Team", this show marks the first time that the popular
British television series filmed on location in America.  Using a
wide range of advanced technology, the British and American
archaeologists worked together to help solve some of the many
mysteries at one of early America's lost cities.
     See the rediscovery of Chancellor Philip Calvert's huge
mansion more than three hundred years after it was demolished by an
explosion.  Learn new insights from the graves at the Chapel Site,
and join the ongoing search for the colonists' first fort of 1634.
