Can anyone provide any information on the introduction and use of
corrugated metal panels as building/roofing materials?
When and where were such panels first manufactured and used?
Who were the most prominent manufacturers of stamped corrugated panels
and rolled corrugated panels respectively?
When was galvanizing of such panels first applied?

I too would be very interested in any replies regarding these
questions. Corrugated panels were used extensively throughout Alaska
as an architectural building material, as both archaeological and
photographic evidence abundantly attest. Up to this point, I thought
that their temporal and geographic breadth was due more to
transportation and supply mechanisms, but this is speculative. As
above, any information or references on these materials would be greatly
appreciated.
