Call for Papers: Historical Archaeology Conference of the
Upper Midwest 2 March 29-30, 1995
HACUM is a continuing regional forum for the presentation,
discussion, and timely dissemination of historic archaeological
research.
The conference will consist of pannels of 20-minute papers
followed by discussion. A Keynote Lecture and workshops,
including George Miller's seminar on historic ceramics, are being
planned.
The papers will be collected into a proceedings volume for
distribution to conference attendees and others interested in
historical archaeology.
Workshops will be held at the Annderson Center for
Interdiscipinary Studies and paper sessions will be held at the
Goodhue County Historical Society, both in Red Wing, MN.
Paper proposals addressing any aspect of historical archaeology
of the region, very broadly defined, are sought. Please submit
abstracts of 100-200 words in hard copy and electronic form on
3.5 inch disk in DOC, TXT, or RTF format along with a cover
letter committing to participation in both the conference and the
proceedings volume.
