A technologically-deprived colleague is interested in settlement on the
Alabama-Missippi frontier, ca. 1825-50. Any info/references on the pattern
of settlement and, particularly, information on the components and size of
the farmsteads of this location and period would be appreciated. Comments
on contemporary Indian farmsteads in the area or region also would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Mike
