Mail*Link(r) SMTP Historical archaeology and Geography
As part of my doctoral research I am doing quite a bit of reading on the
question of cultural landscapes and have been mining the cultural/historical
geographic littrature on the subject. One impression I have is that historical
archaeologists seem quite unaware of the interesting work being done by
geographers such as Duncan, Cosgrove, Daniels etc from the 1980's onwards. I
would be intersted to hear whether my impression is true especially given the
traditional ties between geography and archaeology
