[This is a handbook that Dr. Williams basically put together for his
historical archaeology classes at the Presidio of San Diego. The reason I am
posting it is that I feel that the sections on the artifacts are
exceptionally well-illustrated and include a lot of information that is hard
to find in other sources. The authors also include a lot of never-before
published information on maiolica (tin-lead glazed earthenware common to
Spanish Colonial sites), and a great deal of information on architecture. If
you are interested in this publication, please let us know by e-mail
