Hi,
Afraid I can't comment on anaphylactic shock in animals perhaps you
should talk to a vet.  But at one site I have, 2 dogs (great dane -
*the guard dog* and scots terrier) have unrestricted access in and
around the hives.  When the bees were set up, the dogs, after doing
the usual sniffing, learned very quickly to stay clear.
