Hi Pure Jane, The best way to keep the cost down for a hot box is to get
an old broke down refrigator that still has the adjustable shelver in it.
Hope that the fan that cools the coils still works. Take it out and save
it. Get a thermostat with a probe that you put inside,attaching the
control outside.get the type that you can plug a low watt,40, into.
Install the fan inside,up top blowing all the time on a baffle so the
heat stays uniform. You can also use this setup along with a pan of water
to finish off queen cells. Hope this helps,let me know. Take Care,John
