Some time ago I posted this information, the only comment was from Andy M
at Simon Frazer reporting he was getting involved with lab work on essential
oils.
All essential oils are readily available at health food stores,
sometimes as food additives, and for general 'wellness'.
They are reasonable in price.
I believe the ultimate answer will be the method of use. My
information is that they all work better in a sugar syrup solution ie. fed
to the bees. Menthol works by evaporation, and therefore is used in the
breathing passages. Is it possible that the feeding of essential oils
affects the hemolymph?
PS.
Since writing this I had the time to log on and read the Amrine
report and would suggest that you all do the same it is very startling reading.
