This is indeed interesting.  It was not I, the beekeeper, but my wife
who experienced central retinal vein occlusion this past summer. (Her
vision still has not returned to normal.)  I do not consider this a
problem related to beekeeping, because her contact with the bees is very
minimal, but it is interesting nonetheless.
