In Quebec City, we can either contact the Army or the Provincial Police, who
both have bomb disposal units.  If they believe there is a possibility of
detonation, they treat munitions, even from the 18th Century, as bombs and, of
course, you never see them again.  So take lots of photos before!  Also, the
Army is more willing to evaluate the object and return it if they determine
there is no danger...the Provincial Police just take it away and explode it.
So, check out exactly how the diferrent sevices available will proceed before
you actually have them come and look at the objects.
