I believe bees were the symbol of the Medici dynasty in Renaissance
Florence--beekeepers, perhaps?
Also a question: John Lovett once announced to David Letterman, "Underneath
these clothes, I'm nude as a bee!" I had never thought of bees as being
particularly nude. Is this a misconception of the general public?
Finally, I must say it's been really interesting to sit in on this list, and I
mean that (I'm not a beekeeper). However, I've been disappointed not to hear a
single reference to wearing a beard of bees, which of course is always a
showstopper. Or is that generally frowned upon?
Thanks for some entertaining discussions,
Mike Dooley
