I have used the item in question and it does work.  It has two pieces of canvas
sewn to a rod which is bent into a rectangular shape. The canvas is also
weighted on the opposite ends.  The idea is that only one frame is exposed at a
time.  It is a real pain to use but it you have a nasty tempered hive it is
worth the trouble
