Please excuse this diversion but my question is not about beekeeping
but about a beekeeper.
I'm seeking info on a Florida beekeeper named Poppleton. He was active
in the 1870 - 1890 timeframe, maybe longer. He wrote numerous articles
for beekeeping journals (maybe ABJ?) and was apparently a unique migr-
tory beekeeper in that he brought his bees to Cuba for pollination
services.
Does anyone know if ABJ and/or BeeCulture are indexed anywhere on-line?
Maybe I could start there.
Thanks for any help.

PS: Here in Rhode Island the first crocuses are up and my bees are prying
the blossoms open to get inside!
