The Arkansas Archeological Survey has had such a database for years and just
recetnly added a similar projects database that shows in map from where
archeological projects are located throughout the state. The sites database
(AMASDA) is also available on-line to the SHPO office and other qualified
state archeologists. The system was written on a UNIX platform using
Informix-SQL and is now running on a Sun Sparc Station. For additional info
contact Jami Lockhart, Director, Computer Services Program,
Arkansas Archeological Survey. [log in to unmask]
