Mail*Link(r) SMTP Re Lino
I was asked this question a few years ago by Karen Townrow who was working in
Antartica! It seems that lino (the Australian word for Linoleum) is a common
artefact in extreme environments.
It is a fairly common flooring material from the 1930's to the 1960's. You
could refine the dating a bit by analyising the style of the patterns on the
lino which follow the trends in decoration.
