Kenneth Gauck sees nothing wrong with "dis-inviting troublemakers" and I
certainly understand, and appreciate, his sentiments. But I again must pose
the rhetorical question, who will be seen as a "troublemaker" next week,
next month, or next year. If we are so intolerant of dissent, then who is
truly safe from being "dis-invited." And if we are so insecure in our views
that Mr. Johnson un-nerves us, perhaps we have something greater to fear than
his rantings?

I fear that many on this list are reacting in a rather cavalier manner,
finding nothing wrong with silencing those with whom they do not agree. This
may, or may not, be censorship. It may, or may not, violate free speech. But
it surely is not what America has stood for.
