I have viewed with interest the comments on Bee-L re the pro and cons of fume
boards, clearer boards and blowers.
So far, there has been no comments about the residue in the honey from using
fume boards. This is the case with any of the repellants used in fume boards.
Is this not a consideration in deciding what to use?
Are there no regulations about not having residues in your honey?
Here in Australia, the use of fume boards was banned several years ago because
of the residue problems. Our customers overseas demand a "clean, green"
product with no residues.
