I think the ground-proof work is required.  We know there can be problems with t
he remote data, but it is suggestive.  I think that such suggestions might be ut
ilized to identify priority areas for testing, especially on projects designed t
o record/salvage/manage or otherwise find thingson a limited budget.  I don't th
ink I would publish, but were I working with a CRM project, I'd be sure to assig
n some of my limited resources to the detected anamoly.
