Jane,
There have been numerous posts to the list regarding bottle
identification--you should look in the list archives. The main source
for bottle identification is
        Toulouse, Julian   1971   Bottle Makers and Their Marks.
I forget the dates, but the "Federal Law Prohibits...." stuff is common
and dates the bottle to a specific time period in this century.
