To maritime historians and underwater archaeologists, I have a graduate studen
t working on ship provisioning in the Caribbean in the sixteenth century. He i
s aware of the possibilities, or lack thereof, in the Archivo de las Indias, an
d is looking for documents that indicate provisions taken on board ship at the
ports of Veracruz and Havana. We would appreciate any information on the exist
ence and location of these documents. Please send message to Angela Thompson a
t [log in to unmask] Thanks for any information.
