For Dwayne James and anyone else interested in pet cemeteries, other
than the Stephen King kind, an interesting article appeared in the 1994
issue of "Markers, the Journal of the Association for Gravestone Studies."
The article is entitled "Best Damm Dog We Ever Had: Some Folkloristic and
Anthropological Observations on San Francisco's Presidio Pet Cemetery."
Richard Meyer is the author. It is an interesting look at a subject
that doesn't see very much study.
