Dan Mouer belongs to the Simon Legree school of southern labor practices.
We knew that. But fire the dowsers! Where is your sense of tradition sir?
No, I did not suggest that coke bottles and coathangers should displace
actual testing, or that remote sensing of any sophistication should
supersede stripping.
My approach was to apply models, in order to reduce the scope of the
search, and then strip the smaller area first. But I definitely think that
dowsing should be tried first, just to see if there is any correlation.
Every method deserves testing. In this case, dowsing was proposed by no
less a personage than INH himself, so it deserves a test.
