Adrian, by all means stick with your 12-step program and take your
medication daily. The prognosis, however, is not great. Living in
Virginia where folks collect genealogies and hang their imagined
family heraldry on their walls, I fear that Britishness may be
incurable and, what's more, transmittable unto many generations to
come. By all means, stay away from resistivity detectors; they tend
to amplify certain genetic characteristics.
