Mike,
Many thanks for the forward on log cabin construction. The summer has been
quite eventful, have volunteered on the dig in southern Oklahoma all summer.
Bill Lees was somewhat happy to get a professional archy for 8 weeks
"gratis". I moved a lot of dirt for him! Interesting guy. Landed a
part-timer with ODOT doing research at SHPO for a sites inventory along state
highways. Also will be working for Lees doing artifact analysis, data entry,
and report write-up on Honey Springs battlefield survey he did. Between the
two jobs, will be at 40 hours/week. Still no benefits or retirement stuff
though. Am also quilting for a lady. I understand what sweat shops are all
about now! Hate living in this city, so does Phil. We are looking to buy in
Norman. Still looking for full-time work, am trying to find a state job.
Saw a posting from Dykeman the other day asking for info on historic
condoms! What's up with that? Staying busy? How are the newbies working
out? New house? Drop me a line and fill me in on all of the cool happenings
in Utah. Oh, I saw a posting for BLM positions ASAP in central Utah because
of a big fire. What happened? Gimme all your news and nobody gets hurt!
Best regards to all of the Sage family.
Later,
Lynita
