Dear Anita, I have a favor to ask. My wife may be posted (she's an
economist) to the DC area for 2 years. I will go with as "attending
spouse" and am looking for some kind of job, most preferably in my
specific field but at least in archaeology. Would you have any ideas as
to where to look? I have a Ph. D. with a specialization in Early Bronze
Studies and ca. 20 years experience including in the field. I've worked
on sites from Neolithic to virtually modern. I have extensive editing
experience, know how to write archaeological reports and can also word
process with facility. I also know desktop editing-VENTURA 4.0. If you
have any ideas as to leads to pursue I'd appreciate it. I am willing to
teach, do research on my own material or that of others, edit, work in
the field; even do salvage or contract archaeology locally-if its
possible considering my ignorance of local cultures.
Thanks. Eliot
