Salutations:
I thought the list could provide some input on an idea that's buzzing in my
head. We have a number of microfilm and microfiche copies of historical
documents (these happen to be 17th/18th century Jamaican wills, inventories,
etc.) that we use for study, as I am sure many of you do. I was wondering if
anyone has any knowledge of methods, software and hardware, for transferring
such copies directly or indirectly into a digital format? If no one has
tried it, but has thoughts on the subject, I welcome this as well-- on or
off list.
thanks in advance,
David
