To all those interested in the recent Time Team programme at Historic St. Mary's
City. I have just caught up with some of the discussion around the programme,
and thought I could clear up some of the questions.

The three-day format of the programme is certainly a challenge, and one imposed
not just by cost but the fact that all of the archaeologists involved in the
series work full-time as such, and can rarely get away for more than a weekend.

The series is a Channel Four Television Production. Unfortunately, none of the
programmes are available either to rent or buy. There has been a great deal of
interest in doing so, however, and this situation may change in the future.

All suggestions for projects are welcome. The address to write to is:
Time Team (site suggestion), Diverse Productions, 6 Gorleston Street, London W1H
1RN. Most of the sites are in the UK, with possibly one or two foreign sites
each year.
