The weird "Joy" note and the "need money" post got by the Spam detector
software because neither of them were sent to hundreds of lists. In fact,
HISTARCH seems to be the only list hit so far. I didn't get the so-called
"ponzi" scheme, because my email system didn't translate the attachment.
As listowner, I came home today to find over 300 messages in my mailbox,
most of them errors from the three lists I run. You out there have no idea
how many spams are caught by the spam detector every day that you never see,
but I get to deal with.
If someone wants to start their own moderated historical archaeology list,
be my guest.
