I'm afraid I deleted the 1st ed. OED + supplement post, and
I can't remember if any of these made it:
'to pocket a ball at billiards' (or snooker - my observation)
'to cause a young child to use a chamber-pot'
and 'to encapsulate in a liquid insulating material which sets solid'
It does have an obsolete 'to dig pits in, to fill with pits', but
not 'to pot' as the verb for what a pot-hunter does.  But then
it doesn't have pot-hunter either.
