I am looking for a mapping program which will produce both choropleth
and contour maps (especially the latter) from data base files (ASCII,
xBase, or FoxPro). I am running on MacIntosh, but I need to be able
to produce output which can be exported to Surfer, running on Windows
or DOS. In other words, I am producing site maps using MiniCad, and I
need to produce distribution overlays. My client runs AutoCAD on DOS
machines and produces Surfer distribution maps as AutoCad layers.
Anybody have a good suggestion? Much appreciated,
