    I don't think it is a development of allergy.  I had a severe reaction
once when I was taking a pain killer in the ibuprofen family, and I was stung
just once.
 
    It scared me; bees are my livelihood.  But I had no further problem, a
few days later, when no longer taking the drug.
 
    I  think it is an interreaction of the venom and the drug(s).
