I alternate a drawn frame and a frame with a narrow (1/2")
starter strip. This usually gets the fine comb drawn in the
frame instead of at right angles to it, which the bees so often
seem to prefer -- perverse creatures, bees.
Bees don't much like working sections -- that's one reason why
the street price is so high.
