I worked this past summer at Ft. Niagara (French built 1659).  Later taken
over by the British, Americans, British, then Americans for the final time
after 1812.  We excavated two 3X5 test units near the enlisted and officer
guard houses.  Try to contact Brian Dunnigan, Exec. Dir. of the Old Fort
Niagara Assn., Youngstown, NY.  Or Doc Knight, Director of Archaeology In
