  For those of us leaving for Thanksgiving, it is probably easier to put your
HISTARCH mail on NOMAIL. To do this, simply send a message to the
[log in to unmask] saying SET HISTARCH NOMAIL. When you return, send
a second message saying SET HISTARCH MAIL.
  I am looking into putting an editorial policy on a welcome file, so that
when people subscribe they would get this policy. Hopefully, it will
discourage any more flamers. (BTW, I think he's gone...)
  Most of the people who replied to my query about setting the header to
SEND=PRIVATE said no. So we won't. Perhaps our best approach is silence.
