The Department of Archaeology invites applications for the tenure-
track position of Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and
graduate courses and to undertake research in the archaeology of the
Northwest Coast.  Ph.D. required.   Applicants should provide
evidence of their ability or potential to teach courses in
archaeology, to direct field projects, and to publish their research.
Highly qualified individuals without Northwest experience who are
willing to switch their research and teaching focus are also
encouraged to apply.  In accordance with Canadian immigration
requirements, this advertisement is directed to Canadian citizens
and Permanent Residents.  Simon Fraser University is committed to
